Spitfires to Raise Funds for Haitian Relief Effort Through “Toonies for Haiti” Initiative at this Thursday’s Spits Home Game

(Windsor) In conjunction with the Windsor and Essex Rotary Clubs, the Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that the team will be conducting a “Toonies for Haiti” fundraising initiative prior to the commencement of the Spitfires home game versus the Guelph Storm this Thursday at the WFCU Centre. Game time is set for 7:05 pm.

All proceeds raised at the game from the “Toonies for Haiti” initiative will support Haitian relief efforts through the Rotary Shelter Box program, a program which will ship a ten person shelter to the residents of Haiti for each $1,000 raised. For more information on the Rotary Shelter Box program, please visit http://www.shelterbox.ca/

The Windsor Spitfires encourage the best fans in the CHL to donate generously to this most worthwhile cause.
