(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires today announced that the team will be raising a commemorative banner, honouring the five Spitfire players who participated in the recent 2010 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships prior to the commencement of tomorrow’s home game versus the Saginaw Spirit at the WFCU Centre. The banner will be raised as part of the regular pre-game ceremonies conducted by the team, starting at 7:05 p.m.
Team USA gold medalist Cam Fowler as well as Team Canada silver medalists Taylor Hall, Greg Nemisz, Adam Henrique and Ryan Ellis will be honoured for their outstanding performances at the WJHC as part of the ceremony.
