(Windsor) USA Hockey today announced that Spitfire defenseman Cam Fowler and future Spits goaltender Jack Campbell will be part of Team USA’s 22-man roster which will compete at the upcoming 2010 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship from Dec. 26, 2009 – Jan. 5, 2009 in Saskatoon and Regina, Saskatchewan. Team USA trimmed their roster from 24 players to 22 this morning.
Team USA will face Team Slovakia on Saturday, December 26th at 8 pm in their first game of the tournament. Fowler will face current Spitfire teammate Richard Panik in Saturday’s game as Panik was named as a member of Team Slovakia earlier this month.
