On Oct. 20, 2009 Kenny Ryan left the United States of America to come and play for last season’s Memorial Cup Champions, our very own Windsor Spitfires.
Ryan was out on the ice at a very young age. His father would build him a rink in the back yard and at just two years old, Ryan was gliding across the ice (of course there were just a few falls here and there!). His first year of organized hockey was when he was four. He started off playing house league and just kept practicing to get where he is today.
Growing up, his favorite hockey player was Darren McCarty. When he was younger he was also involved in swimming and played football for his school team.
The Spits winger loves just hanging out with friends and going to the movies he tells In Play!
