All season long, it has been a debate if Troy Passingham would be able to handle playoff hockey.
Then the Spitfires acquired Philipp Grubauer from the Belleville Bulls in a trade. From there it was a battle of goaltenders. A week before the playoffs, people wondered if Passingham was going to get a shot in net during the playoffs.
Passingham had a good season, but after watching the first two games against Erie, Grubauer has proven to everyone, that he should and more than likely will play the majority of the playoffs.
