Two weeks ago, Greg Nemisz was cut by a skate and was rushed to the hospital to get 40 stitches on the upper leg.
Head Coach Bob Boughner said his status is day-to-day, but chances are he will not play in their upcoming game against Erie on Thursday. Boughner said if he doesn’t come back Thursday, he will return in the next series for sure.
The six-foot-four, 200 pound power forward has contributed 34 goals and 36 assists for 70 points in 51 games played this season.
Nemisz has been a solid winger for Windsor and the Spits could use his help in the playoffs. When he comes back, this will add a big strong forward with soft hands that isn’t afraid to play the body.
