He's well-known for his defensive contributions. But it was also Kenny Ryan's offensive play that stood out this past week, earning him Player of the Week honours for the seven days ending January 9th.

Ryan had an assist in a 5-4 overtime loss to Plymouth on January 6th. The next night in Sarnia, he had a pair of goals in a 9-4 loss to the Sting.
For the season, the 19-year-old, second-year player from Franklin Village, Michigan has 12 goals and 18 assists in 34 games.
In 86 career regular season games with Windsor, Ryan has 26 goals and 39 assists and a +12 rating. He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the second round, 50th overall at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Ryan and the Spitfires are back in action this Thursday night in Ottawa, for a date with the 67's at 7:30. New additions Taylor Carnevale, Jake Carrick and Adrian Robertson will be making their debuts.
