Windsor Spitfires Defeat Guelph Storm 11-3 at the WFCU Centre

Spitfires’ Special Notes

- Tonight’s win was Windsor’s eighth straight, and they lead the OHL with a 21-3-0-3 record, good for 45 points

- Windsor is 15-0-0-2 in their past 17 games and avenged their last regular season loss which came against the Sting on October 11th

- Forward Taylor Hall enjoys his third five-point night of the season (1 goal and 4 assists) and was named the first star in tonight’s game. He also leads the OHL Scoring Race with 51 points and is tied for first in goals scored with 23 in 27 games.

- Forwards Adam Henrique, Austin Watson, Greg Nemisz and Dale Mitchell all enjoyed multi-goal games for the Spitfires, scoring two goals each in today’s contest. Adam Henrique has also scored at least one point in nine consecutive games.

- Defenseman Mark Cundari records two assists tonight and now has at least a point in eleven consecutive games. He is currently ranked first in the OHL for plus/minus rating with a +32 and is tied for second amongst all OHL defencemen with 27 points in 27 games this season.

- Defenseman Cam Fowler leads the OHL Defensive Scoring Race with 35 points and is ranked second in the league with 32 assists in 27 games

- Goaltender Troy Passingham won his league leading 19th game of the season and is ranked third in the OHL with a 2.40 goals against average. He is also tied for first in the OHL with three shutouts

- Four Spitfires are ranked in the top ten for the OHL Scoring Race (1st Hall – 51 points, 3rd - Henrique – 42 points, 4th – Nemisz – 39 points, 8th – Fowler – 35 points)
