Team OHL had a lot of help from Plymouth goalie Matt Hackett in defeating Team Russia 5-2.
It didn't take long for the Spitfire line to impress their home crowd as Adam Henrique banged home a rebound to open the scoring for the OHL All-Stars. Greg Nemisz and Taylor Hall were given the assists on the only goal of the period.
In the second period, the OHL All-Stars continued raising the score as Ottawa's Tyler Toffoli tapped the puck just past Russia goaltender Alexander Zalivin. This put Russia behind 2-0.
The OHL All-Stars would take two penalties giving Russia a five-on-three power play and give them the chance to put the puck in the net and make it a one goal game. But Hackett turned away several difficult shots to keep the lead where it was.
