Francis Menard and Cody McNaughton each had a goal and an assist and Garret Sparks made 26 saves as the Storm topped the Spitfires 4-1 in Guelph on Friday night.
Anthony Cortellessa had the lone goal for Windsor (8-4-1-1), his first Ontario Hockey League marker. Ty Bilcke and Stephen Alonge each recorded their first OHL points on the goal, which spoiled the home side's shutout efforts with just 55 seconds to play.
Menard's goal came at of the first period and was the eventual game-winner.
Zack Mitchell kicked in two assists, while Hunter Garlent and Andrey Pedan had the other goals for Guelph (5-3-1-1).
John Cullen stopped 36 pucks in goal for Windsor in a losing cause.
The Spits wrap up the weekend Sunday afternoon, when the London Knights come to the WFCU Centre for a matinee.
