(Owen Sound ) Three third period goals blew the game wide open, as the Spitfires dropped a 5-1 decision in Owen Sound on Sunday afternoon.
Jarrod Maidens scored twice and Gemel Smith added three assists, as the Attack (8-8-1-1) moved into a tie for fourth place in the Western Conference with the Spits (8-8-1-1).
Adrian Robertson scored the lone goal for Windsor , which dropped its sixth straight game. The Spits last won two weeks ago in Brampton .
Scott Stajcer was outstanding in goal for the hometown club, making 39 saves. Jack Campbell stopped 34 pucks in a losing cause.
The Spits host the Barrie Colts on Thursday night at the WFCU Centre.
