Windsor Spitfires Drop Fourth in a Row

Ryan Spooner, Darcy Greenaway and Tyler J Brown each scored twice, as the Kingston Frontenacs took a surprising 6-2 decision over the Spitfires at the WFCU Centre on Thursday night.

The Eastern Conference’s last place team (2-10-1-1) held leads of 2-0 and 3-1 before Craig Duininck scored a seeing-eye goal with less than a minute left in the second period that closed the gap to 3-2 after 40 minutes.

Greenaway's goal at of the second period was the eventual game winner.

He also assisted on Brown's 7th of the season at of the third, and added his own second of the night, putting the game out of reach at .

Tom Kuhnhackl had the other Windsor goal.

Kuhnhackl returned after missing 13 games with a knee injury to pot his first of the season while playing on the top line with Alexander Khokhlachev and Brady Vail.

Jack Campbell made 30 saves in goal in a losing cause.
