Each player participating in the event will make a $20 donation to the Sutherland Global Services - Mickey Renaud Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund awards $3,000 to a male and female athlete in Windsor, Essex County or Chatham-Kent. The money being raised at the Sutherland Global Services and Windsor Spitfires Tyke Hockey Tournament will allow scholarship recipients to apply for additional funding throughout their college career.
Co-sponsors from McDonald’s Restaurants and Parker Construction will also be making financial contributions and in-kind donations to the scholarship fund.

We thank Sutherland Global Services for their support in offering this fund to help students from our local area achieve their academic goals and look forward to providing kids from the McDonald’s Little Spits Program the opportunity to skate with our players again this season.
