Eric Locke had three goals and Zack Kassian chipped in four assists as the Spitfires thumped the Knights 7-3, before a packed house in London.
Ryan Ellis also scored twice and Tom Kuhnhackl had a goal and two assists.
But it was Locke's third goal that proved decisive.
With the Spits leading 4-3 in the third period, and shorthanded, Locke grabbed a Kenny Ryan pass in full stride and busted in on a partial breakaway, sliding one past Michael Houser to break London's back.
Alexander Khokhlachev scored his 10th of the year to make it 6-3, with a little more than two minutes to play.
Ryan Ellis added an amazing empty netter, to seal the 7-3 win.
Troy Passingham made 20 saves in the Windsor goal for the victory.
