Following Windsor’s 5-0 victory over the Saginaw Spirit tonight, the Spitfires have won the OHL’s Western Conference Semi-Final Series four games to two. The Spitfires will advance to the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series for the third consecutive season, as they take on the top seeded Owen Sound Attack.
Windsor set an OHA and OHL record tonight, winning their 10th consecutive series in the past three seasons, breaking their tie with the Peterborough Petes 1978-1980 championship squads who won nine straight series.
