(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires announced today that forward Kerby Rycel is the Tecumseh & South Walkerville Vision Centres Player of the Week for the week ending September 25th after scoring two goals for six points in three games including the game winning goal in Windsor’s 2-0 win over the Sarnia Sting on Sunday afternoon at the WFCU Centre.

Rychel, a 16-year-old native of Tecumseh, ON, is playing his second OHL season with the Spitfires after recording 21 points in 62 games last season.
Kerby is currently third in the OHL in scoring behind only Barrie's Tanner Pearson (5G, 3A) and Colin Behenna (1G, 6A).
Kerby is the season's first recipient of the Tecumseh & South Walkerville Player of the Week honours.
